Uptown Soccer Fundraiser
Recently, I had the privilege of contributing to my favorite sport, soccer, in order to give more players the opportunity to compete. This reflection dives into my journey of collecting and donating $4,100 to Uptown Soccer, an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of young players.
I decided to support Uptown Soccer because of their drive to help so many players. Before committing to the fundraiser and our partnership, I was in constant communication with the director of Uptown Soccer, David. As a result, the donation process went super smoothly. The $4,100 donation is expected to have a substantial impact on Uptown Soccer's ability to obtain more equipment for their teams. From new soccer balls to improved training gear, the funds will contribute to creating an environment that fosters skill development, teamwork, and, most importantly, a love for the sport. I am excited to continue my partnership with Uptown Soccer and watch our relationship develop further.
