Leveling the Playing Field Donation Drive
Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to organize a donation drive at my school, Avenues, to support soccer players in need. I was thrilled to contribute to such a meaningful cause for the Leveling the Playing Field (LPF) soccer teams—a new partner organization for Goals for All.
My decision to organize the donation drive stemmed from my desire to make a difference in the lives of young soccer players. I chose to support LPF because of their dedication to providing opportunities for underprivileged players to engage in the sport they love, which strongly aligns with Goals for All's mission. Before diving into the fundraiser, I reached out to one of LPF’s leaders, Will, to discuss our partnership and ensure a smooth donation process. The communication with the LPF team, much like my experience with Uptown Soccer, was seamless and reassuring, allowing an easy process. In total, we received 64 different pieces of equipment to donate to LPF! It was so amazing to see how strong the Avenues community can be when we all strive toward a common goal, and I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for donating and helping out!
